Ventriloquism
Ventriloquism is an act performed by a person who manipulates his voice to deceive the audience and make it appear as if coming from somewhere else. In this act the ventriloquist speaks without moving his lips. The modern day ventriloquist sits on a stool with a dummy on his lap and modulates his voice to make it appear as if the dummy is speaking.
