The graphic images are larger files than the text files with large amounts of data that need to be processed by the graphics card. A speedy graphics card has its own inbuilt memory for this purpose so that it does not put any unnecessary pressure on the system

Hard Disk

All your information is permanently stored in the hard disk. The hard disks have lot of storage space which is referred to as bytes. The hard disk is stored inside the processing unit. When the space in your hard disk is filled it gives you an alert which if unheeded will not function in the manner it is supposed to or may even lead to crashing and permanent destruction of your data.

An operating system is software program that helps the computer hardware to co-ordinate and operate with the software in your computer. An operating system is mandatory for a computer. Some of the different types of operating systems are the GUI or Graphical User Interface that contains icons and graphics, multi-user where one computer can be operated by multiple users, multiprocessing which uses and supports more than one computer processor, multitasking that allows multiple programs to run at the same time and multi-threading that allows running of the different parts of a software program at the same time.

The players can control the device and manipulate it with the help of a controller which is directly connected to the console. The controller has analog joysticks that allow the players to maneuver the images on the screen. The players can play their favorite game by inserting discs into the console. They can also download games from the internet.

Microprocessor

Microprocessors are the main functioning units of the computer. It controls all the internal activities of the computer. It performs logical and arithmetical operations internally and helps in reading and writing externally. The microprocessor can perform functions like addition, subtraction, comparison of two numbers and fetches numbers from one area to the other. When you turn on your computer the microprocessor gets the first set of instructions from the central input/output system or BIOS. Thereafter the BIOS or the operating system that is loaded by BIOS into the computer memory drives the microprocessor to perform as per the instructions given.

Block Those Pop-Up Scams!

Many savvy MySpace users who have had experience of being scammed while using this highly trendy social networking site will tell you not to click on links that will redirect you to spam sites in case you get inundated by pop-up ads.

Yes, adware can be very annoying to most if not all MySpace users so as another tip, try to resist clicking on video download links. If you click "Agree" on the terms and conditions page, you might just find an unwanted toolbar installed in your precious Firefox or Internet Explorer browser. This rogue toolbar will start to spawn ugly pop-up advertisements.

Your best bet is to turn the pop-up ads filter on, and pronto too!
